A (belated) look at 2010.

So it's about three weeks late, but it's still January, and thus, permissible. We started an ad agency in 2010. Let me say that again: we started a *&^%ing ad agency. So just to keep things straight, and for the sake of posterity, here are ten pretty sweet things we did last year:

1. Conceived, proposed, won, cast, production designed, directed, and produced a television spot. It played during the Texas-Texas A&M game, in case you were wondering. If you have Time Warner Cable, that is.

2. Out of sheer necessity, learned HTML, CSS, and how to hate IE6.

3. Kept the books pretty much straight.

4. Painted Alternate Gothic No. 2 BT and Sedona FLF Script onto a wall into the early hours of a Wednesday morning.

5. Wrote, cast, and produced seven radio spots.

6. Designed and coded six websites, and just designed another.

7. Hand-painted a milkshake sign out of reclaimed barn wood.

8. Drove to Lampasas—past East New Hope Street, Luke Skywalker's old stomping grounds—to find the perfect piece of aged cedar.

9. Painted our logo as large as good taste would allow on our office wall.

10. Met Luke Sullivan!

Yeah, I'd say it was a pretty eventful year. Sets the stage nicely for an encore in 2011. Just imagine what we'll be capable of when we know what the hell we're doing...

For those who like pictures:

Stay tuned.

Warm Regards,
TC
